Notion Ink releases Adam tablet...website

We know, it is quite a downer to hear the Adam tablet not being released just yet - this is somewhat akin to Duke Nukem Forever that has certainly lived up to its name. Well, Notion Ink, the hardware manufacturer behind the Adam tablet, has just rolled out a new website for its 10.1-inch device, but with no hardware in sight just yet. We do know that the Adam tablet will come with a Pixel Qi color E-Ink display, being able to display up to three applications on screen simultaneously. Sporting a couple of USB ports, a mini USB port, an HDMI port and a microSD memory card slot, the Adam tablet will be of the same weight as the iPad, hitting anywhere from 15 to 20 hours of video playback on a single battery charge. Other specifications include NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 dual-core ARM Cortex A9 SoC bundle, 1GB RAM, and 1GB of DDR2 RAM that is quadruple the amount of the Apple iPad - although we do know that hardware alone does not win the battle, let alone the war.
