LucidLogix virtualization tech enables AMD and NVIDIA GPUs to play together with Sandy Bridge
It's baaack. We've gone well over half a year without hearing a peep from black magic makers LucidLogix, but here on the doorstep of CES 2011, the company has resurfaced just in time to ride on the coattails of Intel's forthcoming Sandy Bridge platform. Sandy is expected to take over CES when companies start to introduce new PCs in just a few days, and thanks to Lucid's virtualization software, we wouldn't be surprised if a few are served with NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. This here technology enables the two to play nice, making the outlandish fantasy of using a multi-GPU, multi-vendor setup a reality. DirectX 11 is also supported, with the only real requirement being to "connect the display screen directly to the motherboard's Sandy Bridge display output." We've already seen leaked images of the Olympus E-PL2, the much talked about follow up to the E-PL1. The Micro Four Thirds is expected to boast a new 14-42mm f/3.5 - 5.6 kit lens, a 'direct movie' button, a high-resolution 3-inch display, and an optional Bluetooth model. From the new image above, however, we can see that there will also be an optional 'Medusa' version of the cam with a closeup spotlight for all those insane macro shots you'll undoubtedly be taking. The adjustable LED will also not require an extra battery, so this is one add-on we'll definitely be seriously considering.

Google To offer Information Service in Delhi Metro
Google India and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation have announced that complete information on Delhi metro schedules and routes will be offered to commuters through "Google Transit".
?In line with Delhi Metro?s vision for a people-centred public transport system, we have launched several initiatives to help commutersbetter manage their travel time, transfers, and make more informed transport decisions. The collaboration withGoogle is another step in this direction to make it even easier for the public to plan their trips with transit information on Google Maps?, said Mr. E Sreedharan, Managing Director, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
Manik Gupta, Product Manager, Google Maps & Local said, Google India said, ?Google Transit?s goal is to make public transport information easily accessible and useful. With just a click on a station, commuters can get information showing timings, stations, passing lines, frequency of service etc. As Delhi Metro becomes the favoured public transportation for thousands of commuters every day, it would benefit by attracting new commuters and helping existing commuters to discover new routes. All this will be available on desktops as well as mobiles to make it easier for the commuters.?
Microsoft in the Battle Field ? Will King remain the King?
Google has already announced open source lightweight OS that is initially targeted towards netbooks, expected to be released in the 2nd half of 2010.
Speed, simplicity and security are the key aspects of Google Chrome OS. We?re designing the OS to be fast and lightweight, to start up and get you onto the web in a few seconds. The user interface is minimal to stay out of your way, and most of the user experience takes place on the web.
Google has invited the OS king Microsoft in the battle field by introducing this open source project. Microsoft is still struggling in the Search Business, but what about OS?
According to the geek stuff, people are speculating that following are advantages of Google Chrome OS:
- Open Source
- Netbooks are relatively cheaper
- Speed
- Security
- Portability
- Compatibility
- Simplicity
But the some of the points were same for the MAC, but had Apple succeeded in it? No, coz still there are majority of users who prefer Windows, no matter that Apple?s MAC is being used in servers over security purposes.
The only features that had maintained Microsoft to the top level are comfort and compatibility and this help them again in achieving the same success again.

Nook lineup sells millions, Barnes & Noble's best-selling product of all-time
Other notable factoids include Nook Color's reign as the company's "number one selling gift of the holiday season" and nearly one million "Nook books" downloaded on Christmas Day. In fact, the company now sells more digital books than it does physical books over BN.com (i.e. not including books sold in brick-and-mortar stores). Wish we had some hard figures, but hey, if any company is going to mince words in a sales announcement, it might as well be a book company, right? Press release after the break.

Social Network Profiles or Emails - Which is more active?
From the past few months I?m looking for tools and techniques to market my social-network site, Franktag.com over the internet. But one thing I found confusing and I?m still struggling to know what exactly it is.
My plan is to viral the brand of my social-network project thru Viral Marketing technique and I?m sure that I?ll achieve my target by the end of 2010. While sparking a viral message to small number of people I tried two categories of them. I targeted 700 emails and few hundred orkut profiles. As the latest news goes on more people are getting into social-network era by the time. Social Network Profile or Email? Where people are more active and which one is more frequently accessed. After spreading a viral message to both of categories I found emails to be fruitful. Emails founds to be more responsive than social network profile.
What does it mean?
Are people on social networking site are just for connecting to their friends? May be they are not there to know the latest buzzing news, They are there just for a catch-up with friends.
But the 2009 top investment report says something else.
Social Media marketing is one of the the top-second area on investment. This post at dosh dosh has included all the benefits of Social-Media-Marketing. One of them is Huge Massive Traffic.
What i found till? If you?re targeting informal market i.e ?youngsters? than nothing other than Social Media Marketing will be helpful for you as the young age people like college and school guys used to be more active on their Social Network Profile rather than emails.
But emails proved to be best for formal marketing section as working people drives emails in their daily professional routine. Although my viral campaign is targeting informal market but I get a good response from emails as compared to social network profiles. That may be because of irrelevant topic sharing with audiences. You should know the technique to share a informal topic with formal audiences thats what called ?Marketing?.
Well I?m not a master in Marketing. I?m just sharing what i experienced with it with you all. Thats it!
